Rutillated quartz and 18ct yellow gold geometric earrings from the acclaimed Brazilian jewellery designer Carla Amorim, available in the UK exclusively from Astley Clarke. Influenced by the lines and curves of the great architect Oscar Niemeyer, these stunning earrings reflect the geometric patterns often seen in and around Brasilia. Featuring a claw set emerald cut rutillated quartz which measures 8mm by 12mm, the earrings have a total drop of 62mm. Attached from the quartz are a series of concentric gold rectangles each attached to their larger counterpart which results in a beautiful movement. The rutillated quartz has fine gold needle-like inclusions that remarkably reflect the surrounding light. Beautifully proportioned the Saccheri earrings would make a truly special gift.
